Only two Premier League grounds could break the attendance set by fans watching the Sidemen Charity Match on Saturday at the London Stadium.

West Ham’s London Stadium is hosting the Sidemen Charity Match between Sidemen FC and YouTube All-Stars, which has a capacity of 60,000 for football.

But that is set aside for professional matches, which necessitates plenty of regulations over fan allocations and police presence.

With such rules not as vigorously in place, a total of 62,000 tickets have been sold to fans for this weekend’s clash.

And that number was astonishingly reached in just 15 minutes when tickets went on general sale in early July.

Remarkably, it means that only two grounds in the Premier League could beat that number – Old Trafford and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Manchester United’s ground is the biggest English club football stadium, holding just over 74,000.

While Tottenham’s brand-new stadium can hold 62,850 – narrowly more than how many fans will be at the London Stadium on Saturday.

And it is a rapid rise for the Sidemen Charity Match, which was held at The Valley for three games in a row in 2017, 2018 and 2022.

Charlton’s ground holds just over 27,000 while St. Mary’s hosted the first match of its kind in 2016, which holds 32,000.

It shows how popularity has vastly increased over a short space of time while prices were remarkably low.

Ticket prices started out at an affordable £8, a fair price for fans wanting to see their YouTube heroes in action.

Among those to take part are KSI, Miniminter, and Behzinga and more.

American creators IShowSpeed, Mr Beast and Chandler Hallow have made the trip across the Atlantic to play.
