Celta Vigo come from behind to draw with 10-man Cadiz

Celta Vigo's winless run has stretched to 11 Spanish league games with a 1-1 draw at home against 10-man Cadiz.

The visitors took the lead with their only attempt at goal in the entire first half.

With 15 minutes gone, Chris Ramos rose to meet a cross from the right and glance in a header.

Keen to lift themsleves out of La Liga's bottom three, Celta Vigo were making all the running, and their chances were boosted after half-an-hour when Cadiz defender Victor Chust was shown a straight red card for a challenge on the edge of the penalty area.

The collision between Chust and forward Iago Aspas looked innocuous but referee Jesus Gil thought otherwise.

Not long into the second half, the hosts got the equaliser they deserved when Jorgen Strand Larsen slid in at the back post to score in his 50th game for the club.

Celta were on top for the rest of the game and had 25 attempts at goal to Cadiz's two, but found goalkeeper David Gil in inspired form.
