The manager of Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez, disagreed with Mourinho’s choice to criticize referee Anthony Taylor verbally for alleged injustice in the Europa League final.

He did note that those impulses needed to be restrained and that managers needed to set a good example.

“Everyone acts as they see fit. You play a final, you feel harmed… We have to control the reactions. We have to be examples,” he said, per Relevo.
