Pochettino announced as ex-Spurs manager gets a new coaching job

Mauricio Pochettino revealed himself as Chelsea’s top managerial target as he prepared to start a new position.

Mauricio Pochettino, a managerial target for Chelsea and a former manager of Tottenham, has finally been given a new coaching position, but it is not with the Blues.

Pochettino will lead the Soccer Aid Legends team in the charity match.

The English XI will be comprised of former Three Lions and Lioness players, as well as celebrities and influencers, and the Argentine manager has agreed to be the coach of the Soccer Aid World XI FC in their upcoming charity match.

With players like former Argentine goal scorers Gabriel Batistuta and Hernan Crespo, as well as former Manchester United player Nani, Pochettino will be in charge of the Soccer Aid squad.

Usain Bolt, a former Olympic champion, and comedian Lee Mack will both be on the team for the match.

Pochettino is still waiting for confirmation from Chelsea.

The game will take place at Manchester United’s Old Trafford Stadium on June 11, 2023, with both teams hoping to raise money for the Soccer Aid charity.

Pochettino may soon travel to Old Trafford in a hostile environment because he is still the favorite to succeed Graham Potter as permanent manager at Chelsea.

There have been rumors of ongoing discussions between the Argentine manager and Chelsea, who want to hire him after the current season.

Though no official confirmation has yet been provided by either party, it is believed that the former Paris Saint-Germain manager has all but signed a contract with Chelsea.
