Solano Park is located in the central Phoenix area of the city and not too far from the Phoenix Tennis Center.  The Solano Park Pickleball Courts are a new addition to the park in 2023 along with some other improvements the city made to make the park more family friendly for residents in the area. 

The amenities at Solano Park Phoenix include a large and newly resurfaced basketball court, a small skate park, a playground for the kids, a large grass area and soccer field, and of course, the pickleball courts.

The city made some recent improvements to the park because this park has seen some safety incidents in the past, so the goal was to provide more family friendly amenities to give families more reason to come out and use the facilities.   

How Many Pickleball Courts Are at Solano Park?

The Solano Park Pickleball Courts include four outdoor dedicated courts with permanent lines and lights for day and evening play. 

These are fairly new courts to the portfolio of pickleball courts in the City of Phoenix and it’s nice the city added more courts in the central corridor of the city. 

Just think, it would be nice to spend a day playing tennis in the morning at the Phoenix Tennis center and then driving over to the Solano Park Phoenix pickleball courts for some afternoon pickleball with friends.
