Pecos Park Pickleball Courts

Pecos Park Pickleball Courts

Our goal is to share details about public pickleball courts in and around the Phoenix area, where any pickleball player can play with no fees or memberships required to play.

The amenities at Pecos Park are extensive and include a large community center featuring a full-size gym, a dance room, game room, and several classrooms and multi-purpose rooms.

The actual park features a skate park, soccer, football, and multi-purpose athletic fields, basketball and tennis courts, a splash pad and community pool, as well as sand and concrete volleyball courts, and a .9 mile walking path.  The park has facilities for almost every athletic interest and for this reason is a popular park for those that live in the area.

How Many Pickleball Courts Does Pecos Park Have?

The Pecos Park Pickleball Courts facility has 16 dedicated pickleball courts that get busy at peak times but don’t have long waits compared to other facilities in the area due to the number of courts available for play.

The courts here are in pretty good condition and the regulars here have been welcoming when I have played here.  I have never had to wait for a court when I have played at the Pecos Park Pickleball Courts but these are not my regular courts so I don’t play here very often.

The community center at the park is known as Pecos Community center and has 3 indoor gym courts that are open twice per week on Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm. as of the writing of this article.

If you are in the east valley and are looking for a place to play, the Pecos Park Pickleball courts would be high on my list for no other reason than with 16 courts available, the wait times can be shorter or non-existent compared to Arrowhead Park or the Tempe pickleball courts.

If there are additional public pickleball courts in the area that we might have missed, please let us know by leaving a comment on our Facebook page or sending us an email directly.  We will try to visit the courts and add them to our Phoenix pickleball courts directory as long as they are open to the public for anyone to play.
