Adrian Newey, possibly the best F1 aerodynamicist the sport has ever seen is leaving Red Bull. According to sources from around the paddock.

Although this rumour has been swirling for a while the initial reports centred around teams vying for the services of the acclaimed designer, however this is the first time that news connected directly with Newey has mentioned his [potential] departure from Redbull.

Both Aston Martin and Ferrari have “opened the cheque book” in an effort to take Newey away from Redbull.

People around F1 had also added fuel to the flames, remembering that Newey had stated that two of his F1 regrets where not working with Ferrari and 7 time Champion Lewis Hamilton. With Hamilton moving to Ferrari for 2025, people connected began to join the dots.

No official news has been released yet and the team he is apparently heading to hasn’t been mentioned but journalist Tobi Gruner of auto Motor und Sport has released has tweeted about the story.

If Adrian Newey heads away from Redbull, it will be interesting where he will end up, will it be Aston Martin or Ferrari? Could another team be in the mix?
