That couldn’t be further from the truth.
Because the F1 Arcade has taken London by storm.
Ever wanted to Race around Monaco? Or be the next Lewis Hamilton?
Well the F1 Arcade makes it possible.
Based in St. Paul’s, London’s newest social venue with 60 simulators offers F1 fans a unique competitive experience. Put your racing skills to the test and see how quick your reactions really are.
This is not just a step up from Mario Kart, this is elite racing.
The bespoke racing simulators were uniquely designed, offering individual, team-based & all-venue racing formats, along with different modes for all ages & questionable abilities.
Once you get behind the wheel, you are in full race mode. Friendships are out the window, because it’s race time! With speakers in the seat and the movement of the sim, everything feels real, from the gravel to the crashes. Multiple crashes in my case..
The F1 Arcade currently has two different race modes to choose from; Team Racing and Head to Head.
If you’re coming with a group of 6 or more, then Team Racing is the mode for you. However, if you’re in a smaller group (2 to 5 people) and want a shorter more intense racing experience, then Head to Head is ideal.
For all the F1 fanatics out there, in 2023 we will be treated to a Grand Prix racing mode. which will include extended sessions with warm up laps, qualifiers and an action-packed final race.
I may not be the next Michael Schumacher but I did win plenty of ‘Arcadians’.
“Arcadians?” I hear you say. Yes, the F1 Arcade even has its own currency. You can earn digital currency by visiting, playing and even engaging on their socials. Talk about turning up guest experience to an 11. Spend them on anything from cocktails to mega prizes. When I say mega, I mean mega. Paddock Club at the Grand Prix anyone?
THE ONLY TIME YOU CAN DRINK AND DRIVE
But I mentioned cocktails so let’s talk about the most incredible bar I’ve ever laid my eyes on. 40ft long and stocked with enough spirits to satisfy any cocktail connoisseur. ‘Sparks will fly’ took top spot on my podium. A rum based cocktail perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth! But remember don’t drink and drive kids! Even if the cocktails have race inspired names..
From the cocktail names to the bathroom decor. It’s enough to make any F1 fan giddy.
And ladies, we all love a good bathroom. But this bathroom is next level and that’s how know it’s a quality establishment!
So much thought has gone into the design of this venue, which should certainly be on any F1 fan’s to do list. As soon as you walk up the stairs you are in Formula 1 heaven.
