Felipe Massa is looking for Ferrari’s endorsement as he aims to reverse the outcome of the 2008 World Championship.

The Brazilian’s legal team has given Formula 1 and the FIA a short timeframe to adequately address their legal warnings concerning the infamous ‘crashgate’ incident.

Now 42, Massa was competing for Ferrari when the event occurred. However, Ferrari’s new chief Frederic Vasseur, when asked about the matter, said: “I don’t really want to comment on this.

“But I’m not a big fan of the idea of changing the race result even 15 minutes after the chequered flag,” he added.

Interestingly, should Massa take legal action against F1, the sport is currently represented by its CEO Stefano Domenicali—who was Massa’s team leader at Ferrari in 2008. Regarding Ferrari’s stance, Massa told the TV show TG1:

“At the moment I have not received any support from Ferrari, but I am counting on their help. “I am optimistic. I will continue to fight for justice until the end,” he stated.

Alpha Tauri Expected to Rebrand as Hugo Boss – Report

The transformation of Alpha Tauri to Hugo Boss appears to be imminent.

A report from Motorsport-magazin.com last month hinted that Red Bull’s secondary team will likely be rebranded as ‘Hugo Boss Bulls Racing’ starting next year.

Indeed, while ‘Boss’ logos currently adorn the Aston Martin cars, the German high-end fashion brand is set to exit Formula E entirely, according to Sport1.

Furthermore, new Hugo Boss CEO Daniel Grieder was quoted by motorsport-magazin.com stating: “Hugo Boss is realigning its existing commitments in sport and we will only concentrate on Formula 1 in the future.”
