Varun Aaron, a former fast bowler for India, believes that RCB would prevail over RR in the Indian Premier League 2024 elimination match. Notably, RR finished third on the points table with 17 points following the washout in the last league game of the season between RR and KKR.
They will therefore play the fourth-place RCB in the eliminator on Wednesday, May 22. Bengaluru enters the match having revived their campaign with six straight victories, while RR has lost their last five games. Aaron believes that because RCB has a great deal of confidence in themselves before their match, they will start as the clear favorites.
“Particularly when you enter the playoffs with a six-game winning streak. All it does for you is boost your confidence and the team as a whole. They will therefore enter with a great deal of faith, in stark contrast to the Rajasthan Royals, who enter with a great deal of uncertainty. Because of the momentum that RCB is bringing into this match, I fully support them; therefore, it could be an intriguing match,” Aaron stated on Star Sports.
In addition, Aaron expressed his anticipation for a title win, praising star batsman Virat Kohli for his devotion to the Royal Challengers of Bangalore for 17 seasons and saying he would be thirsty for the win.
