When RCB and CSK square off in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Saturday, May 18, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Virat Kohli stated he is excited to play alongside MS Dhoni. After sharing the dressing room with Dhoni multiple times over the previous 16 years, Kohli hinted that this might also be the final opportunity he gets to play alongside him.

The final time that Kohli and Dhoni played international cricket together was in the Manchester Old Trafford semi-final of the 2019 World Cup against Kane Williamson’s New Zealand. The 35-year-old Kohli has always had nothing but praise for Dhoni, and the two have a strong bond.
“It is a major event for spectators to watch Dhoni play in any Indian venue. Playing with him again—maybe for the last time, you never know—that’s a unique experience, Kohli remarked on Jio Cinema.
” It’s a terrific chance for fans to see us together, and we have some amazing memories and collaborations for India,” Kohli continued.
In terms of RCB and CSK, both groups are aiming to secure a spot in the playoffs. To get in the top 4, though, the Challengers must defeat Chennai by 18 runs or pursue a goal with 11 balls remaining.
