The majority of Chennai Super Kings followers in the Indian Premier League (IPL) are predominantly supporters of MS Dhoni, according to former Indian cricket team batter Ambati Rayudu.
In a recent conversation, Rayudu recalled how the supporters used to cheer whenever Dhoni appeared, but they would become silent even when he smacked a six or a four.
The cricket player described it as a trying experience, adding that even all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja felt it and was annoyed because there was nothing he could do about it.
In recent years, Jadeja and I have noticed that the crowd is silent even when you hit a six and a four. When I say this, I genuinely think that CSK supporters are first and foremost MS Dhoni supporters. Rayudu stated on Star Sports, “Even Jadeja gets frustrated, but he can’t do anything.”
This IPL 2024 has been no different, with spectators swarming to the stadiums to see MS Dhoni bat. The speculation that the 2024 Indian Premier League may be Dhoni’s last season in the league has increased the excitement surrounding the former captain of the Indian cricket team.
