Phil Salt gave Sunil Narine a lot of credit for his amazing performance for KKR in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. On the strength of some amazing batting and bowling performances by Narine, the Knights have already advanced to the playoffs.
 
Narine has amassed 461 runs at an average of 38.41 and a strike-rate of 182.93 in 12 games, scoring three hundred and one hundred runs. At the Eden Gardens, he scored a century against RR, but his efforts were in vain. The veteran has also claimed 15 wickets at an economy rate of 6.63, which is remarkable considering the current T20 tournament’s batting-friendly surfaces.
 
Before the Knights and Titans game on Monday, May 13, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Salt praised Narine.

“Sunny is one of the things that sets us apart. With his bat-and-ball skills, it’s like he’s playing with thirteen players. So that really frees the rest of us to play the way we want to. Sunny is very chill, as am I in the middle. We know what we do well, and we remind each other of that. Hopefully we can keep it going,” Salt said before the clash.
 
With four fifties already in his name, Salt has amassed 435 runs from 12 games at an average of 39.54. He has been in reasonable form.
