The second edition of the SA20 League will be played in 2024 and for the same, an Auction was organized on Wednesday in Johannesburg. All six teams were present on that day and they purchased some valuable players to make their franchise strong.

During the auction, Imran Tahir was selected as a wild card pick by the Joburg Super Kings. Lorcan Tucker was acquired by the Paarl Royals at his base price of R 175,000. The most expensive purchase of the auction was all-rounder Dayyan Galiem, who was bought by the Joburg Super Kings for a hefty sum of R1.60 million.

Also, various emerging players were selected by the six franchises. With these selections, all the teams have now finalized their squads for the upcoming second edition of South Africa’s premier T20 competition.
