The third match of the much-anticipated Asia Cup between India and Pakistan is being played at Pallekele International Stadium. In this match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. However, Shahin Afridi and company proved Rohit’s decision wrong by taking 3 wickets in the powerplay itself. After the dismissal of skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli came to bat and he was also sent to pavilion on the individual score of four runs. After this, Shreyas Iyer came to the crease who is making his comeback after some months. Iyer played some couple of good shots but then Haris Rauf sent him back to the dressing room.

Before getting Shreyas Iyer out, the Pakistani speedster Haris Rauf Breaks the bat of the Indian batter with his lethal delivery. The video of this incident is getting viral on social media.

In the eighth over of the match, Rauf bowled at a speed of 147 KM/hr, and this delivery shattered the stumps of Iyer. Immediately after Kohli’s dismissal, the right-handed batsman hit two boundaries, but in the 10th over, Harris Rauf bowled a magnificent delivery to send Iyer back to the pavilion. Iyer attempted a lofted shot towards mid-wicke and Fakhar Zaman took a superb catch.

Iyer is making a comeback to the Indian team after almost five months. He missed the entire IPL 2023 due to his lower back injury. In place of him Nitish Rana was appointed as the captain of the side.
