Jack Wild’s Early Life

Jack Wild was born in 1952 in England. He began his acting career at the age of 13 when he appeared in the Film “Oliver!” (1968). He went on to star in several other films and television shows.

In 1970, Wild auditioned for the role of Robin Hood in the film “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” (1991). He did not get the role, but he did get a chance to meet actor Kevin Costner, who would later star in the film.

In 1973, Wild starred in the film “The Lost Boys” (1973). The film was a huge success, and Wild’s performance earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.

Wild’s career slowed down in the 1980s, but he made a comeback in the 1990s with roles in films like “Hook” (1991) and “Batman Forever” (1995).

Wild died of cancer in 2006. He was just 54 years old.
