To avoid shortchanging any matches and to ensure they have enough time for each bout, some originally planned matchups were removed from the SummerSlam card.

Regarding the potential Women’s World Title match between Ripley and Rodriguez, the uncertainty revolves around Rodriguez’s clearance. If she receives storyline clearance, the match could be added to the show even on the day of the event.

The women’s locker room appears discontented with Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch’s removal from SummerSlam. Rhea Ripley expressed her support for calls on Twitter demanding WWE to “treat your women better.”
