This Saturday is SummerSlam, so Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes will meet in person before their rematch at the next Premium Live Event. Rhodes asked for the match with Lesnar on the July 10 show of “Raw.” Both men have won their first two matches against each other, which took place at WWE Backlash and WWE Night of Champions.

Before he faces Finn Balor in Detroit for the World Heavyweight Championship, Seth “Freakin” Rollins will team up with one half of the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, Sami Zayn, to fight Balor’s friends, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio. Zayn will want to get back at Judgement Day for hurting his tag team partner Kevin Owens during last week’s North American Championship match against Dominik.

As the problems between The Viking Raiders and Alpha Academy keep getting worse, Valhalla will face Maxxine Dupri in Maxxine’s first-ever singles match. On the July 3 episode of “Raw,” Dupri, Chad Gable, and Otis beat Valhalla, Erik, and Ivar in a six-person tag team match. Dupri, Chad Gable, and Otis won the match.

Also, Logan Paul has something to say tonight before his match with Ricochet at SummerSlam.

We’re on air! As Logan Paul walks down to the ring, viewers at home are greeted by Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick.

Logan Paul Tells Us

Paul welcomes fans to “Raw” and then says he thinks about not talking to “brain dead people for too long.” He says he’s in Houston for Ricochet after trying to introduce him to his own audience last week. He says all he was trying to do was show off Ricochet’s athleticism and get people excited about this match. He says that instead, Ricochet surprised him, and because of what Ricochet did, he will beat him at SummerSlam in the most-watched WWE match ever.

When Ricochet’s music starts playing, he walks down to the ring. He asks Paul what’s going on, and Paul tells him that he’s in his head. He says that Paul is trying to act like the good guy, but he can fool his crowd but not WWE fans. He tells him that their SummerSlam match will be a big Hit and that he needs to talk to him. He says that even though he doesn’t like Paul personally, he respects him as an athlete and performer.

Paul says that he’s glad Ricochet said that and that he feels the same way. He says Ricochet was one of the best until he joined WWE. He also says he made them famous when they both jumped off the top rope and across the ring to hit each other during the Men’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year. He tells Ricochet it’s going to be a great fight and offers his hand. Ricochet hits it with his hand and gets ready to leave, but Paul stops him. He tells Ricochet that his fiancee, Samantha Irvin, will have to say that Paul won their match.

Ricochet can’t take it any more. He keeps giving Paul right hands, but Paul turns the tables and Ricochet crashes to the mat. Ricochet knocks him out with an enziguri and tries to hit him with a right hand from the top rope. Paul hits him with his right hand while he is in the air, then shows his viewers on his phone how much damage he just did.

Then we go backstage to see Jackie Redmond and Imperium. Redmond asks GUNTHER about their match for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. GUNTHER says that he doesn’t live in the past. He says that sadness is his only worry, and he talks about how disappointed he is in Ludwig Kaiser after last week’s loss to Drew McIntyre. He says that Kaiser will have a chance to make up for his mistakes when he meets Matt Riddle next, and he will finish off McIntyre at SummerSlam.

When Riddle gets back to ringside, he walks down to the ring. Next comes Imperium.

Ludwig Kaiser vs. Matt Riddle (with GUNTHER and Giovanni Vinci)

When the bell rings, the two people lock eyes. Riddle does two returns to the mat before he and Kaiser trade submit holds. Riddle gets the upper hand and does a gut wrench suplex on his opponent. He then hits him with a chop. Kaiser gives his own answer, and the two of them go back and forth. Kaiser throws Riddle shoulder-first into the ring post, then dropkicks him out of the ring and gives him an elbow. He throws him back into the ring and talks with GUNTHER for a second about what to do next. Kaiser tries to get back in the ring, but Riddle throws him out of the ring by sending him over the top rope. Afterwards, he gives Floating Bro.

When Riddle comes back from the break, he swings his arms and chops at Kaiser. He hits the opponent with a suplex and a Broton, then a German suplex and a bridge into a pinfall. Kaiser kicks out, and Riddle gets a second Broton. He tries to get a third, but Kaiser raises his knees and gives him a strike. Then, Riddle kicks Kaiser in the head, but Kaiser falls on his face. Riddle does a takedown and a ripcord knee. Vinci jumps onto the field, which lets Kaiser roll Riddle up. Riddle does a powerbomb, then a ripcord knee, and then tries to pin his opponent. Kaiser kicks out, slaps, and then gives a punch to Riddle. Riddle knees Kaiser, then climbs to the top and tries to fly away. Kaiser moves out of the way, throws a running enziguri, and then finishes the fight with a modified DDT.

Winner: Ludwig II of Bavaria

GUNTHER shakes Kaiser’s hand after the match.

After the break, we go to a film that shows what has happened leading up to the SummerSlam rematch between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes.

Back at the side of the ring, Alpha Academy goes down. Next come the Viking Raiders.

Valhalla (with Erik and Ivar) vs. Maxxine Dupri (with Chad Gable and Otis).

When the bell rings, Valhalla gets to work right away. She knees Dupri, and then she throws right hands. Dupri hits back with two arm drags, but Valhalla knocks her out with a knee to the head. Dupri grabs Valhalla’s arm again and gives him a kick to the head. He then gives Valhalla a takedown and a splash in the corner. Otis and Gable get on the apron to help Dupri, and Dupri gives Otis the Caterpillar as a gift. Then she climbs to the top, does a somersault, and then tries to get a pin. Erik jumps into the ring, which makes the judge lose focus. Before Ivar gets engaged, Otis fights with him. Then, Gable does a moonsault that knocks out everyone on the outside. This lets Valhalla put Dupri on the top rope and try to hit a superplex on him. Dupri gets out of the corner, puts Valhalla in the Electric Chair position, and then wins with an Ocean Cyclone Suplex.

Maxxine Dupri won.

Back in the ring, Judgement Day is about to start.

We Hear From the Day of Judgement

Before Rhea Ripley says “Raw” doesn’t start until all four of them say it does, Damian Priest tells everyone to stand up for Judgement Day. She says that it’s the world of Judgement Day and that they have no problem putting anyone on the shelf who doesn’t follow the rules. Priest names everyone who has passed Judgement Day, including Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, and Liv Morgan. Priest warns Rollins and Zayn that he and Dominik Mysterio will be facing them later tonight in a tag team match.

Finn Balor says Rollins acts crazy, but seeing the scars he gave him is really crazy. He says Rollins ruined his career seven years ago, and even though he can’t get rid of the scars, he’ll give them to Rollins to make himself feel better. Dominik says he’ll make the Mysterio name proud again, and Ripley says that anyone who tries to stop Judgement Day should learn from Raquel Rodriguez. She tells them to hide and run away.

When Rodriguez’s music starts playing, she walks down to the ring with anger in her eyes. She doesn’t waste any time and starts throwing right hands at Ripley right away. She whips Ripley into the corner, gives her a snapmare, and then clotheslines her out of the ring. Rodriguez then throws her into the barrier and the ring post. He then tells Dominik not to get involved. Ripley takes advantage of the situation and gives Rodriguez a chop block. When Rodriguez grabs her knee, officials run down to see if she is okay. Ripley steps on Rodriguez’s knee, and then she chooses to stop.

Then we go to the first part of a two-part video story about how Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler got their SummerSlam match together and how their friendship has grown over the years.

Shinsuke Nakamura sits down when he gets back to the ringside.Next is Tommaso Ciampa.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Thomas Ciampa

When the bell rings, the two people lock eyes. As Nakamura gives Bronson Reed a shoulder tackle, Reed can be seen looking from backstage. Ciampa hits Nakamura with a chop and a backbreaker. He then gives Nakamura a knee to the head and stomps him. He hits him with a right hand and a chop, but Nakamura hits him in the back with a knee and a kick. As the fight moves outside, Ciampa puts Nakamura on the floor. He then gives him a knee that knocks him into the area for timekeepers.

When Nakamura comes back from the break, he throws an enziguri at Ciampa. Ciampa responds with a DDT off the ropes, then hits a chop and looks to go flying off the middle rope. Ciampa moves out of the way, hits him with a knee, and then an elbow. Nakamura reacts by kicking Ciampa in the stomach and rolling him up to win.

Shinsuke Nakamura was the winner.

Brock Lesnar walks down to the ring after the break.

Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes Talk to Each Other

Lesnar presents himself in the style of Paul Heyman and goes over what he has done. He says that it’s now fight week because SummerSlam is finally here. He says that at the next PLE, he will be paid to fight Cody Rhodes, while Rhodes will be paid to get beat up. Then he tells Rhodes to come out to the ring.

The music for Rhodes starts, and he walks around the ring before going inside. He puts out his hand for Lesnar to shake, and Lesnar does so. Then, they look at each other and Rhodes tries to hug Lesnar, but Lesnar pushes him away and looks like he wants to leave. Rhodes stops Lesnar with a suicide tope, but Lesnar throws him spine-first into the ring post and hits him twice with one of the ring steps. Rhodes gets up, but Lesnar hits him across the back with his right hand. He then picks up the ring step again and hits Rhodes with it, but Rhodes won’t lay down. Lesnar hits him in the head with a knee, then throws him into the ring and gives him an F-5.

GUNTHER makes his way down to the ring after the break. Chad Gable is already inside, ready to go.

In a Five-Minute Challenge, Chad Gable takes on GUNTHER.

When the bell rings, the two people lock eyes. They trade submission holds back and forth until GUNTHER stomps on Gable’s neck and then gives him a snapmare. Then he does a neck crank and bodyslam, and then he tries a couple of pinfalls. Gable moves forwards and throws two chops, but GUNTHER responds with a series of uppercuts. Gable throws a few right hands and tries to throw GUNTHER over his head with a German suplex, but he can’t do it. GUNTHER knocks Gable out with a chop and goes for The Last Symphony, but Gable counters with an Ankle Lock. GUNTHER gets out of the hold, gets a chop, and then locks in a Sleeper. GUNTHER looks for The Last Symphony with 10 seconds left on the lock, but Gable gets out and knocks GUNTHER outside. The time has run out.

GUNTHER asks for the clock to be given more time, and Samantha Irvin says the match will go on. Gable then gives GUNTHER a drop kick.

When the break is over, GUNTHER gives Gable a huge chop. He does it again and puts Gable on the top rope, but Gable fights him off and gives him a knee. He then hits two dropkicks and locks in an arm and shoulder hold, but GUNTHER gets out of it and hits a high German suplex. Gable hits his opponent with several elbows and a German suplex, and then he goes for the pin. GUNTHER kicks out and hits a big boot. He then throws a series of chops and The Last Symphony to win.

GUNTHER won.

GUNTHER tells his fans after the fight that they should get used to him winning and being happy about it. He warns Drew McIntyre about what he did to Gable and tells him to look at what he did. He says that McIntyre will have the same thing happen to him at SummerSlam, and that will be the end of him.

Then Becky Lynch walks down to the ring.

Becky Lynch challenges Trish Stratus to a rematch, and Trish Stratus accepts.

Lynch says “The Man” has returned to Houston and that she has said and done everything to get her fight with Trish Stratus. She says there’s nothing left to do but do it, and there’s no better time than now for the two of them to face off.

Stratus’s singing is popular, and she shows up with Zoey Stark. Stratus says she thought about going up against Lynch right away, but she realised that she fights when she wants to. She tells Lynch that she will tell her when and where she wants to fight her, and she promises Lynch that she won’t cheat in the match. Adam Pearce stops Stratus to say that the repeat is going to happen right now.

Stratus walks into the ring, and Lynch starts getting ready to fight her. The bell rings, but Stark jumps in right away and gets the race thrown out.

Becky Lynch won (because she was kicked out).

Lynch then throws Stratus face first into the announcer’s desk and did the same thing to Stark on the ring apron. She throws Stratus into the area for the timekeepers and tried to suplex her back into the area around the ring, but Stark got in the way and beat Lynch down. Stark is thrown into the ring post by Lynch, and Stratus hits her with a chair.

After the break, Stratus and Stark can be seen going around backstage. Pearce comes up to them and says that what just happened was wrong. Stratus says that was a repeat for which she didn’t have time to get ready. Then, Pearce says that Stratus will fight Lynch in two weeks, and Stark will not be allowed to watch.

Then we go to the second part of a two-part film series about how Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler got their SummerSlam match together and how their friendship has grown over the years.

Back at the centre, Sami Zayn gets on his knees. Next comes Seth “Freakin” Rollins and then Judgement Day.

Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins vs. Judgement Day (with Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor)

After Judgement Day, Rollins and Zayn don’t waste any time and go straight to the ramp. They lose to Judgement Day, and Priest throws Zayn into the ring. Before Balor beats him down, Zayn flies over the top to level Priest. Rollins hits him with a suicide tope and sends him to the back. He then goes into the ring to meet Zayn.

Dominik slides out of the ring as the bell rings after the break. Rollins follows him back inside, and in the corner, Dominik throws right hands at him. Rollins puts him in the Electric Chair position and sends him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He then gives him a diving knee and passes the ball to Zayn. Zayn does a double axe handle off the middle rope, but Dominik shoves him into the corner and tags in Priest. Priest throws Zayn into the corner, where he fights back with chops and an elbow from the middle rope. He passes the match to Rollins, who hits Priest with a double stomp from the top rope while Zayn holds Priest in place.

Rollins throws chops in the corner, then kicks Priest in the face and looks like he’s going to fly. Priest catches him with his right hand and tags in Dominik. Dominik hits Rollins with right hands and tags in Priest. Priest gives Dominik a boot and puts him back in the game. Dominik gives Rollins two right hands to the head and middle of his body, then passes the ball to Priest. Rollins gives Priest a knee to the face, but after he lands on the apron, Balor trips him and sends him face-first into the ring post.

When Rollins comes back from another break, he gives Dominik a rolling elbow. Priest and Zayn join in, and Zayn hits Priest in the head with right hands. He then throws a clothesline at Priest, but Priest hits him with a boot. Zayn throws him out of the ring and then jumps over the top to knock him out. He throws him back into the ring, gives him a Tornado DDT, and then tries to pin him. Dominik stops the fall and joins the fight. Before he can finish the 619, Zayn knocks him out with an elbow.

After that, Rollins and Priest tag in, and Rollins does a Sling Blade. He gives Priest three tope suicidas outside, and the last one makes Priest fall over the announce desk. He then gets Priest back into the ring and tries to go flying. Priest gets him and tries to hit him with South of Heaven, but Rollins gets away and hits him with two superkicks. Ripley jumps up on the ring apron to get the referee’s attention, which lets Dominik hit Rollins with a jaw breaker from the top rope. Dominik gets hurt by Zayn, but Ripley gets in his face. Then, while the referee is looking away, Balor hits Zayn with a knee from behind.

Priest uses this chance to hit Rollins with Razor’s Edge and then tries to pin him down. He sees his Money in the Bank bag and tells Balor to give it to him. Priest wants to use the bag to cash it in, but Rollins superkicks him before he can. Dominik tries to help, but Rollins hits him with the suitcase. Then, Balor tries to strike Rollins, but Zayn knocks him out with a Helluva Kick. Rollins hits Priest with a Kerb Stomp and pins him to win.

Sami Zayn and Seth “Freakin” Rollins came out on top.
