What is Bullet Club Gold?

Bullet Club Gold, also known as the Bullet Club Six-Man Tag Team Champions, are a professional wrestling promotion based in the United States. The promotion is owned by Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks, with other members including Kenny Omega and Adam Page. The promotion debuted on January 14th, 2019 at Wrestle Kingdom 13 in Tokyo Dome, Japan and have since held multiple shows throughout North America. They have primarily competed against CM Punk’s former promotion, FTR Pro Wrestling, as well as Ricky Starks’ All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

The Bullet Club was originally formed in New York City by CM Punk and Luke Gallows in 2013. After unsuccessfully competing for various independent promotions, they were signed to WWE in 2015. However, they were released from their contract in 2016. Shortly after their release from WWE, the Bullet Club gained prominence after forming an alliance with Kenny Omega and Tama Tonga of AEW. They would go on to form the Chaos Group with fellow AEW wrestlers Finn Bálor and Samoa Joe.

Despite losing most of their matches against FTR Pro Wrestling and AEW throughout 2018 and 2019 respectively, the Bullet Club has become one of the most dominant forces in professional wrestling due to their alliances with other wrestling promotions and their large social media following. On January 14th 2019 at Wrestle Kingdom 13 in Tokyo Dome, the Bullet Club defeated FTR Pro Wrestling‘s Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura along with AEW’s Cody Rhodes and Adam

How did they steal the spotlight from CM Punk, FTR, and Ricky Starks?

Bullet Club was not expected to be a powerhouse in the inaugural season of AEW, but they stole the spotlight from CM Punk, FTR, and Ricky Starks.

Punk and Starks had been main attractions for years before AEW debuted, while Bullet Club only entered the scene relatively recently. The trio of veterans were expected to headline most matches on their way to championship glory.

However, Bullet Club proved themselves as the best fighters in the company by defeating everyone who stood in their way. They became fan favorites for their hard-hitting style and never-give-up attitude.

Bullet Club’s success can be partially attributed to how they marketed themselves. The group embraced their outlaw image and made sure that fans knew exactly who they were. This helped them connect with fans on a deeper level than any other group in AEW.

Another factor that contributed to Bullet Club’s success was how they built chemistry as a team. They relied on each other during fights, which made them unstoppable. Their teamwork also led to some hilarious moments, such as when leader Cody Rhodes challenged anyone in the locker room to a duel while wearing a Santa hat (he eventually accepted).

Who else is in Bullet Club Gold?

In what has been a surprising turn of events, Bullet Club Gold has stolen the spotlight from some of wrestling’s biggest stars. CM Punk, FTR, and Ricky Starks all debuted in AEW in 2018 and quickly rose to prominence. However, it seems that Bullet Club Gold is no ordinary faction.

Formed by Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, and Adam Cole in late 2017, Bullet Club quickly became one of the most popular factions in wrestling. The group’s name is derived from Cody’s signature move – the Shooting Star Press – and their matches are often filled with high-flying action.

Bullet Club’s rivals include The Elite (Elite champion Austin Aries and Chris Jericho), New Japan Pro Wrestling’s IWGP Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson), Ring of Honor’s Top Guys (Jay Lethal and Lethal Weapon), NJPW World Champion Kazuchika Okada, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, and Japanese stars Tetsuya Naito and SANADA.

In spite of their popularity, Bullet Club Gold has largely been left out of the spotlight. This changed when Kenny Omega joined AEW in 2018 as a founding member of Bullet Club Gold. Omega made his debut alongside fellow new members Cody Rhodes and Adam Cole at AEW’s first show – Double or Nothing – where they defeated The Elite to win the AEW championship.

Since then, Omega has defended the title multiple times against teams including The Young Bucks

Conclusion

Bullet Club Gold, a faction of the wrestling promotion AEW, has stolen the spotlight away from CM Punk, FTR, and Ricky Starks in recent months. The faction is made up of three former WWE stars – Cody Rhodes, Adam Cole, and Jason Jordan – who left the company in protest over its treatment of wrestlers. They have since formed Bullet Club Gold and started feuding with other factions on the show.
