Sky Sports Italia sports analyst, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Liverpool are not planning to sell Divock Origi in January despite approaches from Serie A and Bundesliga clubs.

'No negotiation for Luís Diaz with FC Porto - Origi will be needed and Klopp asked him to stay until June, as things stand.' he added.

Origi, 26 joined Liverpool from Lille in 2014 and has since had over 100 appearances for  Liverpool, scoring 21 goals.

Despite the frequent injuries that have seen the Belgian getting loaned to various clubs, he  was a part of the squad that won the 2019-20 Premier League, Liverpool's first league title for 30 years. This came shortly after his club, Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League in which he  managed to net one of the two goals Liverpool scored that night.

Divock Origi, who has previously been linked to a number of clubs in Europe with the will to sign him has had 21 appearances for Liverpool this season and netted 5 goals.
