The Egyptian's Contract ends in the summer of 2023, and negotiations for a new one have been ongoing for some time. Since signing from Roma in 2017, the 29-year-old has been outstanding for the Reds, becoming the club's highest scorer in that time. This season, the attacker has scored 30 goals and sent out 12 assists in 42 appearances for Liverpool.
