Allegri was formally dismissed on Friday following the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday, despite Juventus winning the trophy. Allegri’s outburst on the sidelines during the final, along with alleged personal threats made to Tuttosport editor Guido Vaciago, reportedly contributed to his dismissal.

La Gazzetta’s report indicates that Juventus feels negatively affected by Allegri’s dismissal and is considering the possibility of justifiable termination. If Juventus can prove just cause for termination, they may avoid paying Allegri the remaining €7m on his contract, which was set to expire in 2025.
Allegri, on the other hand, has not yet decided on his course of action. If Juventus can establish just cause, Allegri still has the option to appeal. He has five days from his dismissal to respond to the disciplinary allegations presented to him by CEO Maurizio Scanavino on behalf of the club’s legal team.
