Dedicated female football enthusiasts, from unwavering loyalty to inking their passion

Prior to the much-anticipated international break, a lively online discussion emerged when a devoted female Arsenal fan became an internet sensation for attending her favorite team’s match at the Emirates Stadium wearing nothing but body paint.

Arabella Mia, a die-hard Gunners supporter, proudly exhibits her club allegiance by standing for hours as her body is adorned with the team’s kit before each game.

However, following Mikel Arteta’s side’s 1-0 victory over Manchester City on October 8, some Football enthusiasts criticized her for the revealing ‘attire,’ with accusations that she was using it to promote her OnlyFans page.

Nevertheless, in an interview with Daily Star Sport, Arabella vehemently stated that her dedication to Arsenal has nothing to do with her explicit career. She clarified, “My OnlyFans has absolutely nothing to do with it. When it comes to actually going to the games, like I’m not going there, and I’m not promoting my OnlyFans. I’m not giving out business cards and being like go and have a look at this. Yeah, this time around, it has been a lot harder for me.”

“It’s just such a shame because obviously, you know, I stand there for four hours, and go and have a great time at the game, especially when we win. And then I come home and I’ve just had so much abuse this time around.”

The provocative model has now set her sights on Stamford Bridge, where an Arsenal win or draw against Chelsea would propel them ahead of Tottenham into the top spot.

However, Arabella is not the only female football enthusiast who goes to great lengths to support her team.

Below, we explore other women who have displayed their devotion in the stands, often baring all or even getting tattoos in the heat of their football passion.

While Arabella fervently supports Arsenal, ardent female supporters can be found beyond the world’s largest clubs. One fan, who goes by the online alias Coyote Cutee, passionately follows Italian second-division side Bari and has been known to disrobe in the stands.

Last season, she even bared her backside during an away match, and surprisingly, she did so alongside a 79-year-old woman. In an Instagram post after Bari’s 2-1 victory over Venezia, she wrote, “She is Adriana, a fantastic woman of 79 years without prejudice and with a great desire to live that he asked me as a gift for his birthday to take a picture together. How could I tell her no.”

“At the penalty scored by @ walo_98, he called me waving the scarf to reach it and take photos together. He confessed to me that he admires me for my gesture, but it is I who admire her and her spirit. Maybe to reach 79 years.”

“Everyone asked me for photos yesterday, but she was the real STAR. THANKS ADRIANA for the wonderful trip, surely we will continue to bring luck to our favourite team BARI.”

Despite the attention she garners for her unconventional expressions of love for the team, Coyote Cutee has drawn the scrutiny of law enforcement for her behaviour at Bari’s Stadio San Nicola.

One of Manchester United’s most devoted fans is Norwegian Christina Henriette Longva Andreassen, who has travelled thousands of miles to watch the Red Devils play. To silence those who claim that women don’t know about football, she had the club’s initials tattooed on her finger, along with United’s iconic number 7 shirt inked on her arm.

Christina shared with the Daily Star, “I think every female watching a male dominated sport feels like they are under constant scrutiny. They are always having to prove they’re just as much a fan or have the same amount of knowledge about the sport and their team.”

“I’m by no means saying every male supporter is like this, most are more than respectful and are very interested in our opinions. Also, I’ve noticed people are much nicer in person than on social media. I’ve gotten texts to say I am a plastic fan with a plastic face and to get back to the kitchen but I have never experienced that face-to-face.”

“It’s very upsetting and unfair and it is infuriating when people are disrespectful and ignorant. It made me work harder on my match day texts though so I’ve tried to channel it for something positive.”

Italian beauty Paola Saulino, known for her daring escapades, once revealed exclusively to the Daily Star that she had an affair with a Premier League star behind his girlfriend’s back.

In the previous season, as Napoli made strides in various competitions, she made a bold promise to conduct a naked open-top bus tour if her beloved team won the Champions League.

Unfortunately, AC Milan eliminated Napoli from the competition in the quarter-final stage, but Paola is known for keeping her unconventional promises, as she did when she gained fame during an Italian referendum in 2016.

Moreover, Napoli’s victory in the Serie A inspired her to make a memorable appearance at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, wearing body paint that barely concealed her assets.

As for fellow OnlyFans creator Arabella Mia, one can only speculate about the surprises they might have in store if Napoli and Arsenal were to meet in the Champions League this season.

Another devoted football supporter is Davina Pindoria, who, as a Tottenham Hotspur fan, got a tattoo to challenge the notion that only men get inked for their teams.

Living just 30 minutes from White Hart Lane, she attends both home and away matches for Ange Postecoglou’s team.

Her tattoo proudly displays Spurs’ famous slogan, ‘Audere est Facere’ (To Dare is to Do), etched in delicate italic writing on her ribs. Davina emphasizes that her tattoo is a testament to her dedication to the team and her desire to shatter stereotypes about female football fans.

Reactions to her tattoo have generally been positive, and she feels it conveys her passion and commitment to the club. Despite occasional online criticism, Davina remains steadfast in her support for Tottenham, viewing her tattoo as an integral part of her identity.
