Abbey Clancy recently shared that her husband, Peter Crouch, brought her to tears when he conveyed that she was negatively impacting his life. The couple, who’ve been together for 17 years and have four children, offer their relationship insights on their podcast, “The Therapy Crouch,” but that doesn’t mean they’re immune to their own problems.

In a recent dispute, they argued about getting a new puppy. Peter, the footballer, was adamant about not wanting another pet, a stance he’s held for quite some time. On the other hand, Abbey was eager to welcome a new four-legged family member, and this disagreement even left her in tears.

During an interview with The Guardian, Abbey disclosed that in the midst of this “puppy-gate,” Peter sent her a text message that read, “I love you but you are ruining my life.”

Peter Crouch, known as Pundit Crouchy, emphasized that he was genuinely expressing his feelings, although he did add the “I love you” part. The couple uses their podcast as a therapeutic outlet, including a segment called “Whine Of The Week” where they can openly address their concerns with each other.

Abbey explained how this podcast has helped them resolve their arguments, noting that it involves sitting down, sharing their perspectives, and ultimately reaching a resolution. In addition to offering advice to other couples, Abbey and Peter also candidly discuss their own intimate life.

Abbey shared that Peter discreetly signals his interest in intimacy, saying, “If the kids go to school and he hears me like, put the key in the door, I’m in and no one’s in the house, I just get a beaver and an aubergine emoji text. I’m not even gonna say the last one but you can imagine what it is.”

She even mentioned a water emoji, implying a rather suggestive message.
