PREMIER LEAGUE. Manchester City again at the top preceding Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal

In a thrilling Premier League clash, Manchester City defeated West Ham United 3-1, overturning an early deficit to regain their position at the top of the league table leaving behind Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal.

The game saw Jeremy Doku, Bernardo Silva, and Erling Haaland score crucial goals in the second half.

City had an early chance but was denied by a goal-line clearance from Tomas Soucek and a save by Alphonse Areola. They missed another opportunity as Haaland’s shot veered wide.

West Ham broke the deadlock in the 36th minute when James Ward-Prowse executed a brilliant diving header from a Vladimir Coufal cross.

However, City bounced back immediately in the second half, with Jeremy Doku equalizing just 43 seconds in. Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland netted in the 76th and 86th minutes, respectively, securing the win.

With this victory, Manchester City leads the Premier League with a perfect 15 points from five games, two points ahead of Liverpool. West Ham slips to sixth place with 10 points.

Manager Pep Guardiola praised his team’s efficiency and patience, while also looking ahead to their Champions League group stage match against Red Star Belgrade.

City’s dominance continues, and their fans are eager to see how they defend their Premier League crown in the games to come.
