Pakistan is the only team among the top-performing nine teams that is still waiting for their visas. Pakistan’s trip to Dubai has already been canceled due to a significant delay in obtaining visas to travel to India for the upcoming major event scheduled for October.

The planned itinerary couldn’t be executed as originally intended. The Pakistani team had intended to travel to Dubai the following week, spending some time there before departing for Hyderabad, where a warm-up match against New Zealand was scheduled for September 29th.

Visa processing is still in progress, and the next phase of the plan is for the team to depart from Lahore to Dubai in the coming week, followed by further travel to Hyderabad for the mega-event.

This issue, coupled with the overall diplomatic tensions between Pakistan and India, has raised alarm within the team. The situation is exacerbated by the political challenges and difficulties stemming from the strained relations between the two nations.

The renowned ESPN Cricinfo has reported that Pakistan is the only team still awaiting visas, underscoring the issues and political tensions between the two countries. Obtaining visas for the two rival teams has always been a challenge.

It has been quite some time since Pakistan’s last visit to India, which took place during the 2012-13 season. There hasn’t been any head-to-head series between the two teams since. After the Mumbai attacks in 2008, Pakistan only traveled to India once, for the T20 World Cup in 2016 in March.
Currently, only two players from the Pakistani team have experience playing cricket in India: Mohammad Nawaz and Agha Salman, who represented Pakistan in the T20 World Cup in 2016 and Lahore Lions in the Champions League, respectively.
