Kylian Mbappe is set to earn four times than Lionel Messi, should he choose to accept the $1.1 billion from Saudi club Al Hilal.

PSG reportedly accepted the lucrative offer from Al Hilal, and they will leave the club to talk Mbappe into taking the one-of-a-life-time deal.

Mbappe to receive $776 million salary at Al Hilal

It has emerged that Saudi club Al-Hilal, majority owned by the PIF, is offering a one-year deal to the PSG striker.

The reported offer includes a $332M transfer fee and $776M salary, making Mbappe the highest-paid athlete in history.

Al-Hilal’s proposed deal includes a $332 million transfer fee paid to PSG and a $776 million salary, or €300m and €700m paid to Mbappe for one season, respectively.

The one-year contract would enable the 24-year-old Frenchman to play in Saudi Arabia before joining Real Madrid next summer; however, Al Hilal must convince Mbappe to join the project.

Remarkably, Mbappe will be the highest-paid athlete ever if he accepts the offer from the Middle East. The current PSG forward will comfortably surpass the current-record $674 million over four years that Lionel Messi received from FC Barcelona in 2017.

Not just that, Cristiano Ronaldo’s current mammoth salary pack of $214 million annually over 2.5 years will be far from any comparison to that of Mbappe.

PSG accept record-fee bid for Kylian Mbappe

Messi was the initial target of Al Hilal, as the club reportedly offered a $1.6 billion deal over three years to the 7th-time Ballon d’Or Winner in June. But Messi chose David Beckham’s Inter Miami for less money.

In case you wonder how Al Hilal and Al Nassr could be pulling ridiculous signings and offers, it’s good to know that both clubs are among four other Saudi Pro League clubs that were restructured last month to become majority owned by the Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund operated by Saudi Arabia’s government
