A man who died in a stabbing in west London has been identified as detectives launch a murder investigation into the killing.
A police car was flagged down by a member of the public at 6.42pm on Thursday, after Tyrone Pinnock was found with stab injuries in Kensington and Chelsea.
Officers at the scene on Kensal Road carried out first aid and called for support from paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
Despite their efforts, the 36-year-old died at the scene.
No arrests have been made at this time. His family have been informed and are being supported by Specially Trained Officers.

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have launched an investigation and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson, who is leading the investigation, said: ‘This happened in the early evening on a busy footbridge that crosses Harrow Road.
‘Several people have spoken to us already and I want to hear from anyone who saw the incident or has any information that could help our investigation.
Were you travelling on Harrow Road between Bravington Road and Third Avenue between 5pm and 7pm? If so we would like to hear from you and view any dash cam footage you may have.’
A crime scene was in place on the residential road in North Kensington and the Leader of Kensington and Chelsea Council, Cllr Elizabeth Campbell said: ‘I have been shocked and saddened by the news that a man was stabbed and killed in our community last night. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
‘Council officers will be working alongside the police today (October 19) to provide an increased presence in Kensal Road and the surrounding area to support and reassure residents. There is no place for violence on our streets.
‘I would like to reassure residents that we hear and understand their concerns over safety. We are working every day alongside the Police to make people feel safer with more visible on street uniformed presence and collaborative working with other authorities.’
