Former Brighton and Chelsea Boss Graham Potter is reportedly in line for a managerial recall, should Napoli part ways with Rudi Garcia.

The Seria A side currently find themselves fifth in the Serie A table after eight games, picking up 14 points from four wins and two draws.

They have had some positivity in the Champions Legaue, beating Braga and suffering a close loss to Real Madrid, however pressure is reportedly mounting on Garcia.

Potter is not the only candidate to takeover in Naples however, with former Marseille manager Igor Tudor and ex-River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo both linked with the job.

Garcia took over from title-winning manager Luciano Spaletti, with his previous job coaching Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

However the French manager’s job is very much at risk after key members of the Serie A side’s dressing room complained to the president, according to Foot Mercato.

Potter was sacked by Chelsea after less than seven months in charge, with the Blues left languishing in 11th after winning only 12 of his 31 games.

His competition is in the form of Croatian manager Tudor, who left halfway through his two-year contract with Marseille.

Tudor, who already has Serie A experience with Udinese and Hellas Verona, announced his departure before the end of last season but has since been linked with Juventus.

Meanwhile former Argentina international Gallardo has been linked with many European clubs since leaving River Plate.
