Police Launch Manhunt For Fleeing Cattle Rustlers In Jigawa

 The Jigawa State Police Command has launched a manhunt for suspected cattle rustlers within the State.

He mentioned this adopted a report that final Wednesday at about 0300hrs, hoodlums trespassed into the home of 1 Sale Rabiu of Garin Bukar village, Kaugama LGA, and stole his bull valued at N700,000.

Shiisu mentioned a crew of policemen from Kaugama Divisional Headquarters raided the home of 1 Dan Jumai Alasan of Musaram Kanawa village, Kaugama LGA, suspected to be behind it.

He mentioned three cows, 16 sheep, 13 goats, two motor autos, and spare elements strongly suspected to be stolen have been recovered in the home.

He mentioned one particular person was arrested, and energy is in place to arrest the fleeing suspects.

The CP assured the general public of the command’s readiness to make sure the security and safety of law-abiding residents and urged them to report any suspicious actions to the closest police station for immediate motion.
