He said, “It’s kind of a surreal feeling that you know I have got a pavilion named on my name in the same stadium(Where he started playing cricket). I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams that something like that could ever happen.”

Virat Kohli Shares His Joy Of Playing At Home

Virat Kohli, who has delighted fans across the globe with his incredible cricketing prowess, shares his feelings about playing at his home ground. He talks about the unique atmosphere that Delhi offers and how it’s always been a dream to play in front of his friends and family in this historic stadium.

He further talked about how Delhi has always been a special place for him. From the Ranji Trophy to international cricket, playing in front of his family it was always special for him. Virat Kohli also mentions the incredible support he receives from his fans in Delhi, who have been with him through thick and thin.

“Rani Trophy Cricket, playing for India, playing in front of fans in Delhi, playing in front of my family, over the years, It’s been a special place,” he added.

Virat Kohli holds a good record at the Arun Jaitely Stadium, in six ODI innings he has scored 222 runs at an average of 44.40. He has also scored a century on this ground in ODIs. Fans will hope to see the best of him as he faces Afghanistan in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on this very ground in front of the ‘Virat Kohli Pavilion’.
