South Africa
South Africa have a good mix of experienced players. Several players are a part of the squad who played in the 2019 World Cup. Quinton de Kock, David Miller, Rassie Van Der Dussen, Kagiso Rabada, and Aiden Markram who played in the last World Cup will be playing in this one as well.
All eyes will be on Heinrich Klaasen who is entering into this World Cup with brilliant form. He recently scored 174 in just 83 balls in the 4th ODI against Australia. He scored a century earlier this year in the IPL and is someone who plays spin well. His team would bank on him for explosive finishes.
Anrich Nortje is ruled out of the World Cup with a stress fracture and Sisanda Magala with a knee injury. They have been replaced by Andile Phehlukwayo and Lizaad Williams in South Africa’s 15-man squad for the tournament.

Sri Lanka qualified for the World Cup after playing the qualifiers. They maintained an unbeaten run in the qualifiers beating the Netherlands in the final by 128 runs. Hasaranga who took 22 wickets in the tournament is unavailable for Sri Lanka which is a body blow for the side. Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana thus become their top two bowlers for the tournament.
