Afghanistan
Afghanistan won their last warm-up game in emphatic fashion with their batters scoring 257 runs in 42 overs in a rain-truncated game. Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored a century while Rahmat Shah scored an impactful 91 as the batters stitched a 212-run stand for the second wicket.
Afghans have one of the best spin attacks in the tournament led by Rashid Khan with Nabi and Mujdeeb Ur Rahman for company. They also have Noor Ahmed and Fazalhaq Farooqi in their ranks. If the Afghan batters can keep their nerves and bat well, they can pose problems for the opposition. They are a top-heavy team and thus Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran need to be in good form for the side.

Mustafizur Rahman will lead the pace attack. he took 20 wickets in the last World Cup. He has Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud and Shoriful Islam as the lead pacers. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nasum Ahmed will share the spin attack with Shakib. Bangladesh’s temperament will be tested in big games which will also define their World Cup campaign.
