The rain has made an unwanted appearance in the ongoing Super Four game of the Asia Cup 2023 between India and Pakistan. It poured heavily in the 25th over and even Ground Staff were taken by surprise. However, Fakhar Zaman showed a kind gesture and helped the ground staff there.
Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman ran quickly and helped ground staff to bring the covers to the ground. The left-hander was seen working hard. Despite getting wet in the rain, he made a heartwarming gesture and was lauded by many for his actions.

Coming to the match, Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first. Their decision to bowl first didn’t pay off as Indian openers Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma smashed them all over the park. The captain was cautious in the start but the youngster came out all guns blazing.
Shubman Gill (58) and Rohit Sharma (56) smashed blistering half-centuries and stitched 121 runs for the opening partnership. They, however, lost their wickets inside two overs. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul took the responsibility then and played well.
Virat Kohli was batting at 8 runs off 16 balls whereas KL Rahul was unbeaten at 17 runs off 28 balls before rain interrupted the game. During the halt, India were 147/2 in 24.1 overs. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan picked wickets. It remains to be seen how the conditions will be after the rain is stopped. India batters will need to rebuild the innings whereas Pakistan bowlers would be looking to take advantage of the break.
