West Zone have announced their squad for the upcoming Deodhar Trophy 2023, which will begin on 24th July. The squad will be captained by Priyank Panchal and has some big names in the side. Mumbai batter Shivam Dube along with Prithvi Shaw has been included in the side. 

Shivam Dube was in the red hot form in the IPL 2023, where he scored over 400 runs, whereas Prithvi Shaw had a decent domestic season but what caught the attention of many was even though he will travel to England for the county stint, he was still named in the team.

Apart from these two, Sarfaraz Khan and Rahul Tripathi too have made the cut into the team alongside Ankeet Bawane. The bowling department saw some surprises as Rajvardhan Hangargekar has been given a nod ahead whereas Chetan Sakariya and Tushar Deshpande have been kept as standbys.

The bowling department will be boosted by Shams Mulani and Arzan Nagwaswalla whereas apart from Chetan Sakariya and Tushar Deshpande, Yuvraj Dodiya, A Kazi, and Kathan Patel are also on the standby list.
