Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar scripted history as he became the fastest centurion for his side in the ODIs. The all-rounder achieved the feat in the ongoing ICC World Cup Qualifiers game against the Netherlands and guided his side to win in the all-important clash.
Sikandar Raza turned the game on his head in the chase and played magnificent innings. While chasing the target of 315 runs, Zimbabwe lost three quick wickets and was tumbling at 162/3. But the all-rounder’s arrival on the crease changed things drastically.

Sikandar Raza came out all guns blazing and went from the word go. He smashed Netherlands bowlers all over the park and tilted the game in his side’s favour. The all-rounder stitched 84 runs partnership with Sean Williams (91) and bailed his side out of trouble.

But after the wicket of Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza took the onus to himself and played staggering well. He slammed a century in 54 balls and took his team home. The right-hander ended with the knock of 104 runs, smashing 6 fours and 8 sixes.

Sikandar Raza returned with the figures of 4/55 in his 10 overs and then won the game for his side with the bat. This was Zimbabwe’s second straight win in the ICC World Cup Qualifiers and now are sitting on the top of the points table of Group A.
