MI vs RCB: “How Are We Feeling MI Fans ?” – Twitter Reacts As Mumbai Indians Thump Royal Challengers Bangalore By 6 Wickets

Fans on Twitter reacted after Mumbai Indians (MI) thumped Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 54th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium to win their 6th game of the season and climb to the No.3 position in the points table.

But after that, it was sheer carnage from Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell, who scored 120 runs in partnership and took the game away from the MI. Both the batters got half-century and brought their team back in the game after early wickets. While the skipper scored 65 runs, the Australian batter chipped in with a 68-run knock.

But after their wickets, they couldn’t keep on the momentum and score freely. Dinesh Karthik played a gusty knock of 30 runs that helped RCB post a total of 199 runs on the board. MI conceded just 47 runs in the last 5 overs with Jason Behrendroff being the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 3/36.

Chasing the target, Ishan Kishan took MI off the flier as he smashed 42 runs in 21 balls. Rohit Sharma continued his dreadful form as he was dismissed for 7 runs. But after that, it was a Suryakumar Yadav and Nehal Wadhera show as they made a mockery of RCB bowlers and smashed them all over the park. 

The duo smashed 140 runs partnership before Suryakumar went back for 83 runs. Wadhera on the other hand smashed a half-century and remained unbeaten on 52 to take his side home by 6 wickets. Notably Mumbai Indians also created the history as they became the first team to chase 3 200+ targets in an IPL season. They chased 213 runs against RR, 215 against PBKS, and now 200 against RCB.
