The LSG vs CSK IPL 2023 match will be played in Lucknow on May 3. The match starts from 3.30 pm IST on Wednesday with Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings playing the second match of the day in Mohali.

The match was originally scheduled to take place on May 4, Thursday at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. However, the match has now been rescheduled due to the upcoming Mayor Election in Lucknow. The authorities have now reportedly decided to conduct the game on May 3 instead of May 4 due to political reasons.

CSK and LSG both are on 10 points each with Chennai losing one game more than Lucknow. Chennai Super Kings are heading into this game on the back of consecutive losses. Lucknow Super Giants, on the other hand, won their last game against Punjab Kings when they scored 257/5 batting first. Things are getting tight on the points table with three of the top four teams on 10 points each.

In IPL 2023, the home and away format is back in the tournament. Hence, all the teams will play seven matches at home and seven away matches.
