Things have not gone well for the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women as the team have once again struggled to get going in their ongoing match against Delhi Capitals Women in the 11th game of the WPL 2023. The team have lost both their openers in Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine and have yet to cross the 60-run mark in the first 10 overs.

Skipper Smriti Mandhana had another unforgettable outing as she was dismissed within the powerplay. Sophie Devine who was looking good was also dismissed by Shikha Pandey who clean the first terms just after the powerplay.

Shikha Pandey struck in the 9th over of the game as she cleaned up the New Zealand batter with a brilliant delivery. The bowler pitched in a swinging delivery aimed at the stumps as Devine looked to flick it away but failed to connect as the ball beat her inside edge and crashed onto the stumps.

Sophie Devine looked frustrated with her dismissal as the batter was slowly starting to get into the hitting stages after setting up her innings.

Things once again look dire for Bangalore as they have lost some key wickets in their first innings and this could be a tough position to make a comeback. The side have lost all their fixtures so far in the tournament and another loss is guaranteed to send them crashing.
