NZ vs ENG: New Zealand’s Playing XI For England, 2nd Test, 2023

New Zealand takes on England in the second Test in Wellington starting from February 24. The Kiwis need to win the second Test to level the series. The Tim Southee-led side are currently placed eighth in the WTC points table.

After winning the inaugural World Test Championship, New Zealand have failed to replicate the same form in the second edition. They have just won two Test matches and lost six in the 11 Test matches played by them during the second edition. They are just a spot above Bangladesh in the top nine Test teams at the moment.

Both the teams recently took part in an away tour. England toured South Africa last month to face a defeat in an ODI series 2-1. New Zealand played against India in an away tour where they lost an ODI series (3-0) and T20I series. (2-1).
