Bournemouth Keeper Begovic to Get Back in Premier League Following Everton Interest.

Everton has set up negotiation talks with Bournemouth shot-stopper Asmir Begovic to sign the player on a free transfer from Vitality Stadium.

Begovic has joined Bournemouth in Bournemouth in the summer of 2017 following a rough disappointing spell in Chelsea. The Bosnia international is looking for a return to the Premier League after an absence of two seasons from the top tier of English Football.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Keeper is new manager Rafa Benitez's top preference as a backup of their No.1 Jordan Pickford after the club failed to sign Sirigu. An estimated contract of two years is to be offered to the Bournemouth keeper to keep him in Goodison Park until 2023.

Begovic has been loaned out of Bournemouth on two occasions as Aaron Ramsdale was preferred as No.1 for the Cherries in their Premier League campaign. The Keeper became regular for the Cherries after their relegation to the Championship and has since been their No.1 following the departure of Aaron Ramsdale.

The goalkeeper has featured in 252 Premier League games, playing for Stoke City for the majority of his career.
