Alejandro Garnacho takes fresh dig at Barcelona, as football's most unnecessary feud continues

Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho appeared to take a dig at Barcelona, as he continues to show a strange disdain for the Spanish side.

Barcelona will not want to remember Wednesday night in a hurry, after taking a one goal lead into their Copa del Rey semi-final second leg at home to Real Madrid.

They then completely capitulated in the second half of the match at the Nou Camp, with Karim Benzema bagging his second hat-trick in just a number of days.

Xavi's side had been looking in relative control until Vinicius Junior scored in injury time at the end of the first half and thereafter could do nothing to respond.

Gavi was too busy scrapping with his opponents to make an impact on the scoreline and Ronald Araujo then got so embarrassed by a bit of skill from Vinicius that he pushed the Brazilian over.

Barca would have been licking their wounds about the latest cup comeback they were on the wrong end of, when salt was rubbed into said wound.

Vinicius posted on Instagram to say "Comeback and final," obviously using the Spanish 'remontada,' a word that has become synonymous with the Catalan side.

United youngster Garnacho, currently out injured, replied with the word 'normal' and a couple of laughing faces.

The 18-year-old wouldn't appear to have any affiliation to Barcelona, other than the fact that, like most of us, he loves Lionel Messi.

However, the teenager has managed to insert himself into an ongoing feud with the Spanish league leaders, ever since the forward faced Messi's former side.

That was in the Europa League back in February, with United coming out on top in the play-off game, after two exciting matches in the tie.

Garnacho celebrated his side's victory by mocking Pedri, and doing the Spain youngster's goggles celebration, which didn't go down too well.

Months later, Araujo even brought up the incident, claiming that the Argentina star should have shown more humility and been calm.

The latest incident is unlikely to be viewed too well in Barcelona either, and their players will be looking forward to coming up against the United youngster again soon.
