'Teams want to stop him': Arteta reveals plans to protect Saka from constant fouls

Speaking about the condition of Bukayo Saka and how he aims to Protect him from getting kicked in every game, Mikel Arteta said: “He’s fine. He got kicked quite a lot today again.

“But he’s going to have to deal with that, not every week, but every three days and sometimes in training as well because it’s his game and teams are not stupid and they want to stop him. That’s why we need to protect him. We will discuss that (if he needs more protection).

“We will look at the images again and report that if it’s necessary.”

Saka was the victim of constant rash fouls from the Aston Villa players, but had the last laugh as he scored an amazing goal and guided his side to a thrilling 4-2 win.

The referees need to learn on how to protect him better before Bukayo suffers a bad injury that can unfairly damage Arsenal's Premier League title race.
