Ancelotti Set to Banish Camavinga From Real Madrid’s First Team After Woeful Outing Against Barcelona

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly fed up with Eduardo Camavinga and is prepared to exile the French midfielder from his first team.

Camavinga had a game to forget in the Spanish Super Cup final, as the Spanish champions were defeated 3-1 by arch-rivals Barcelona, with Ancelotti forced to substitute the Frenchman at half-time for his poor performance.

According to Sportskeeda, the 20-year-old midfielder completed only 68 percent of his passes and lost possession 11 times against the Catalan Giants, frustrating Ancelotti and his Real Madrid teammates.

The Italian manager is reportedly unimpressed with the player, who arrived at the capital from Stade Rennais in 2021, and prefers others in the midfield positions.

Camavinga has made 65 appearances and has contributed three assists, in addition to two goals for Real Madrid so far.

Barcelona fans troll Camavinga

Barcelona supporters took to social media on Sunday evening to poke fun at Real Madrid midfielder, Camavinga, after Barca's victory in the Super Cup final, 101 Great Goals reports.

La Blaugrana supporters tore into the Frenchman while praising Gavi throughout the game, casting doubt on the frequent similarities made between the two.

Camavinga had a disappointing game against the Catalan giants and was yanked off at half-time by manager, Ancelotti, after Real Madrid trailed 2-0 at the interval.
