Reporter tells Potter players 'didn't know what they were doing' vs Arsenal — Chelsea boss responds

During a press conference after the Arsenal defeat, Graham Potter was posed quite an uncomplimentary question by one of the reporters.

Potter responded: "I don’t think that’s true."

After a long awkward pause, the reporter explained his point, saying that 'it was all Arsenal in possession.

"Yeah, I think that's fair," Potter replied. "You've gotta say that Arsenal are ahead of us in terms of how long they've been working together. They've got more points, they've got good confidence, a good structure.

"Our players had an idea of what we wanted to do, but we couldn't execute and the opponent was good."

Chelsea lost to Arsenal 1-0, but the scoreline flattered Potter's team as the visitors were a better side in every aspect of play at Stamford Bridge.
