Alex Telles has joined La Liga side, Sevilla, on loan for the entire 2022/23 season, it was officially confirmed on Thursday.

Julen Lopetegui's side was looking for defensive reinforcements after finishing fourth in the league last year, securing a place in the Champions League.

According to the Manchester Evening News, a tier-two source, Sevilla won't have an option of making Telles' transfer permanent at the end of the season since there's no option to buy.

The Spanish team, will, however, be covering all of the 29-year-old wages. In the meantime, Eric Bailly is another Manchester United defender that Sevilla is keeping an eye on ahead of the transfer deadline.
