"It's time to show the fans the old Pjanic," Miralem Pjanic said when asked about his plans for the 2022/23 campaign.
"Working with Xavi is special. He is my role model. A great season Awaits us.
"In the last two years, I have struggled with injuries, Covid-19, and went out on loan.
"But now it's different. I am convinced that I can get back to my best. I've been working with a physical trainer this summer."
The playmaker spent the previous season on loan at Besiktas as he fell out of favour with previous head coach Ronald Koeman.
Now Xavi is reportedly ready to keep him in the Barca squad as a back-up for Sergio Busquets.
