On Tuesday, the show, ‘‘First Take’’ by ESPN was all about the NBA. The host of the show, Stephen A Smith, sat down with the Nba Commissioner, Adam Silver. The duo talked about a lot of things, and one of the biggest talking points that was discussed was about some changes that Silver is considering making to the current NBA league.

Silver took charge of the league back in 2014. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to beat the metrics of other sports events to take the league to the absolute top. And now, he released a statement citing some of the changes that he might want to bring to the league regarding all the All-Star Games. With this, it seems that history is repeating itself once again.

Silver has always been known as somebody who makes a strong case for reforms. Ever since his induction into the business with such power and authority, he is been pushing to make changes to the format. He believes that change is the next step and must be undertaken without any sort of prejudice to the process.

East Vs West  

When Smith asked Adam to Get into the details, the latter replied, “I think we’ve lost sight a bit that it’s about the game at the end of the day. Again, Joe Dumars, a relatively new head of basketball operations, is very focused on it. We’re looking at some potential changes in format in Indianapolis this year…” When Smith inquired about the change, he further added, “Maybe a return to something more traditional in terms of how the teams are presented. You know we went to throw this captain draft motion but clearly historical it was east vs west, so you know that’s something we are looking at. Maybe a bit of breaking news so…”

This is a huge revelation for fans as it will change the very format in which the games will be played. But it is still a decision that is in its germinating stage, and people hope to see what it will grow into.
