Arnold Schwarzenegger Says That He Is Not A Self-Made Man. See Why

Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a pillar of the bodybuilding community and cinema for the longest time. He has inspired generations of bodybuilders who tried to further the Austrian Oak’s legacy by walking down the path he laid with his own hands. Throughout his career as a bodybuilder, he has maintained the stance that grooming is the most important part of the process. Therefore, now, when he is facing the news of his dear friend and former instructor’s death, it is natural that he is going through an existential crisis unlike anything he has faced in a while.

Being the greatest and the most iconic bodybuilder is not just a title that you can add in front of the name. In fact, it is a journey of a lifetime that Arnie had to undertake. And as you know already, no great journey can be completed without friends. Therefore, it is natural when Arnie lost one of his closest companions; he went through an emotional journey.

In the latest Instagram post by the bodybuilder-turned-actor, he posted four old pictures of himself with Kiyoshi Yamakazi. His friend and trainer. These pictures were taken during the peak of his career. Along with the pictures, Schwarzenegger wrote a heartfelt message saying, “I just heard the news that my sensei, Kiyoshi Yamazaki, passed away. He was a wonderful man and a fantastic teacher who made me believable as Conan the Barbarian with his sword training.”

Long Lost Friend

Arnold Schwarzenegger took to social media to express his sadness over the death of his friend and swordplay instructor, Kiyoshi Yamakazi. Arnie has always maintained that he is not a self-made man. In fact, he always says that he is where he is right now because of all the help he got from people around him.

And after hearing the news of his swordplay instructor’s death, he maintained the same stance. Arnold added, “When I say no one is self-made, this is what I mean… “Who knows if Conan would have been a success if Sensei Yamazki didn’t make my swordplay realistic?
