Rohit Sharma Mimics Faf Du Plessis; Video Goes Viral

The hosts are taking on Sri Lanka in the first test at Mohali. The match began on March 4 at 9:30 AM IST.

Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain was looking good and got a great start after getting out on a short ball bowled by the Sri Lankan pacer Kumara. Which was caught at square leg.

The Mumbaikar played quickfire innings of 29 runs in just 28 balls while hitting 6 beautiful boundaries. Mayank Agarwal, the other Indian opener scored 33 runs in 49 balls.

The hosts, India lost both their openers after a 50 runs stand which enabled Hanuma Vihari and then Virat Kohli to come out and bat.

While Virat Kohli who was playing his 100th test at Mohali was batting, an interesting visual appeared on the Television.

Cameraman panned the camera towards the Indian dressing room. Rohit Sharma, who earlier got out was seen mimicking the batting styles of many batsmen.

It can be seen in the video that Rohit is mimicking the South African batsman Faf Du Plessis who has an unorthodox way of batting. Twitter users tried to guess the style of batting but most probably the Mumbaikar was trying to mimic Faf Du Plessis.

Rishabh Pant, the wicket-keeper missed his well-deserved century by just 4 runs yesterday. Hanuma Vihari also contributed with 58 runs.
